Raise3D Pro 2

I bought a broken Raise3d Pro 2 3d printer on craigslist to fix. I am working on it as a side project to make some money and the internals is extremely interesting considering the age of the printer. the motion controller is powered by an STM32 H7 (a beefy microcontroller with the only downside of very little onboard flash) the UI I believe is powered by a raspberry pi or clone with a custom skin Linux interface. I have a bunch of pictures to document the process I'm going through to fix it. The owner before me must have shorted the 3.3v rail since the TI buck controller gets extremely hot. Luckily I was able to replace the IC (it took me way to long to find the P/N of the controller since Raise3d doesn't know what ICs are on their printers). Still have to fix the nozzle indexer and it should be ready to lay down some plastic.

On a side note - Raise3d support is not very good and knows close to nothing to fix things. They recommend throwing away parts and buying overpriced replacements instead of board-level repairs. The printer is developed in China and the US support team seems to be extremely disconnected about what is inside what they sell, unfortunately.
