GCORE AMP ARRESTER (2023)

When you close contactors too quickly or in the wrong sequence, bad things can happen. With all EVs , the traction inverter has a huge DC link Capacitance, if not pre-charger, the low impedance DC link can accept thousands of amps (enough to weld contactors copper contacts shut). In order to make sure a code related problem doesn't land me to do this, I designed a separate board that controls precharging: An extremely robust precharger circuit that is capable of driving all contactors and transmit its status CAN bus.

4x Smart high side drivers (capable of clamping inductive feedback from large contactors)

Opto-Isolated HV voltage differential measurement (designed for 400v system but can be change to wide multitude of traction pack voltage via resistor swap)
