Allwinner Linux Single Board Computer (2023)

I wanted a challenge so I designed a PCB that runs Linux! Well, should have run Linux... the fine folks at JLCPCB made a mistake that killed the board!  Unfortunately due to bad soldering at the factory, the PMIC was shorted the DRAM and Vcore voltages which led to a toasty chip. The board was designed in Altium Designer and was pretty challenging to route since it was a 4-layer and the board was a tiny 48x53mm.  Even though I couldn't test the board I learned a ton through this project. From MIPI DSI trace impedance matching to length tuning, and a bunch of different tools for high-speed design. The biggest takeaway, never rely on soldering jobs from board houses! A quick visual check could have saved this board from the dumpster! The refund process is taking a while :(

Can you spot the solder jump? HINT: its bottom right.

POV u think u can fix a dead Cortex A9

I thought if I injected a external clock it would work- turns out a dead chip is a dead chip.
